The Unicity Emerging Artist Contest 2010
The Unicity Performing Arts festival in conjunction with Great Scott Broadcasting is pleased to announce the 2010 Emerging Artist Contest. For questions or to sign up please send us a email at unicity@greatscottbroadcasting.com.

Seven preliminary events will be held to determine who goes onto the semi-finals. The semi-final rounds take place on the festival grounds on Friday September 24th and September 25th 2010. The audience vote will determine who goes on to the finals early Saturday evening on September 25th 2010.

Overall Winners Receive:

• Work with a professional Producer to have your songs ready to record ($2,000 value)
• A three song demo recorded at Racetrack Sound Studios in Philadelphia, PA ($3,500.00 value)
• A Unicity Productions PR Package that will include press and a radio interview. ($1000.00 value)
• A consultation session with Realize Records representatives and Unicity Productions Producers ($1,000.00 value)
• One free year of the Realize Record Label Institute in Philadelphia or Nashville location. ($1,800.00 value)
• The winner’s demo will be submitted to the record label for signing consideration.

Summary
The Unicity Emerging Artist Contest is a competition with seven preliminary rounds that lead up to the finals which take place on the festival grounds. The contest allows artists to perform in front of an audience to showcase their talents in the hopes of getting to launch their careers to the next level. Prizes are valued at over $9,000.00.

Each contest has two categories: 18 and over, and 18 and under. In the first preliminary rounds, the audience chooses the winner. The top winners of each category get to move on to the finals. In the final rounds, entertainment industry professionals choose the winners.

Contestants are strongly encouraged to bring their fans to the shows as the audience votes will move them on to the final competition where they will be judged by a panel of industry professionals.
